Both defenses were solid, but Hot Shots won against Fine Lines 2 - zip at Moose Sherritt - Monticello on Saturday. Hot Shots tallied up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Hot Shots added one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. Hot Shots never looked back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Hot Shots conserved its lead, and was the winner.

Having a huge impact in the game, Hot Shots's Kris Lindsoe stopped five out of five shots. Displaying a golden glove, Fine Lines's Lynn Brewer made 21 saves.

Hot Shots extended their winning streak to five games and ended the game with a record of 11-2. Fine Lines ended the game with a record of 5-7.
