In a shutout game, Renegades was superior against Icy Hot 6 - 0 at Augsburg A on Saturday. Renegades chalked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Renegades gained three straight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Icy Hot were not able to answer back. In the final period Renegades scored two goals padding its lead and winning the game.

Renegades's Denise Lien got two goals for Renegades. During the first period, Lien put the puck between the pipes with assists from Jennifer Lenhart and Donna Luttrell. Renegades was in control from then on. During the third period, Lien put the puck between the pipes. Diane Smith and Jess Bowman got the assists on this goal. Virginia Anderson, Heidi Paulson, Donna Luttrell, and Jennifer Lenhart each tallied one goal for Renegades.

Turning in a perfect performance, Renegades's Jan Mohrfeld stopped 18 shots. Icy Hot's Anne Hatinen had only 8 saves on 14 shots on goal.

Icy Hot ended the game with a record of 5-13.
