Jackie Lehmann rips two goals while Cluster Puck clamps down to shut down their opponents

In a shutout victory, Cluster Puck was superior against Northland Thunder 5 - zip at Wessman on Sunday. Cluster Puck scored one unanswered goal to take the lead in the first period. Cluster Puck added two unanswered goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Northland Thunder were not able to answer back. In the final period Cluster Puck scored two straight goals sealing the deal and winning the game.

Cluster Puck's Jackie Lehmann scored two goals for Cluster Puck. Putting a first goal on the board, Lehmann Lehmann scored an unassisted goal. Cluster Puck led for the rest of the game. Piling on, Lehmann Lehmann put the biscuit into the net with an assist from Kassie Nelson. Cluster Puck's Valerie Guse scored two goals for Cluster Puck. Making it happen on the ice for Cluster Puck, Guse Guse got an unassisted shorthanded goal. Then Guse Guse lit the lamp without assistance from team mates. Kara Trygestad tallied one goal for Cluster Puck.

Showing off a strong glove, Cluster Puck's Amy Jones finished with 17 saves. Northland Thunder's Paula Tomlinson had just 33 saves on 38 shots.

Cluster Puck continued their current win streak of three games and ended the game with a record of 19-1. Northland Thunder ended the game with a record of 11-12.
