Defenses ruled the day when Arrows was superior against Synergy 2 - zero at Augsburg A on Saturday. Arrows tallied up two straight goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Arrows kept its lead. Synergy's fate was sealed. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Arrows held on to its lead, and was the winner.
