In a shutout game, Sharpshooters beat MCM 5 - zero at Augsburg A on Sunday. Neither team managed to put points on the board in the first period. Sharpshooters gained two straight goals in the second period to break the tie and take the lead. MCM were not able to answer back. In the final period Sharpshooters scored three goals padding its lead and winning the game.

Having an outstanding day for Sharpshooters, marni lamberty made the hat trick with three goals. Putting a first goal on the board, lamberty lamberty scored a goal with assists from Jill Peifer and Lisa Overom. Sharpshooters turned up the pressure when lamberty lit the lamp in the third period with assists from Kimberly Kline and Lisa Overom. Next, lamberty netted a third goal in the third period. nicole trueman got the assist on this goal. Jill Peifer and nicole trueman each added one goal for Sharpshooters.

Leading the way to a shutout for Sharpshooters, Lindsay Murr had 15 saves. MCM's Susan Farniok had only 19 saves on 24 shots on goal.

MCM finished the game with a record of 1-17.
