Sarah Pollack impresses with two goals as Voyageurs out defends to narrowly win

In a tightly contested game, Voyageurs won against Carleton College 3 - 2 at Northfield on Friday. Neither team managed to score in the first period. Both teams scored one goal in the second period and remained tied. The second period ended with both teams at one goal a piece. In the final period, Voyageurs outscored Carleton College two to one and took the lead to claim the late win.

Showing off a strong stick, Sarah Pollack made two goals for Voyageurs. Krisanthy Sikkila contributed one goal for Voyageurs. Nelson and Mobley each tallied one assist for Voyageurs.

Haley Hinze and Anna Steedman each tallied one goal for Carleton College.

Having a huge impact in the game, Voyageurs's Annette Germann had 21 saves. Carleton College's Charlotte Zimmerman had three saves.

Carleton College finished the game with a record of 1-14.
