Both defenses were solid, but Mean Muggers beat TC Shatter 2 - 1 at Augsburg A on Sunday. Mean Muggers chalked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Both teams tallied up one goal in the second period but Mean Muggers held on to the lead for the win. Mean Muggers never looked back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Mean Muggers conserved its lead, and was the winner.

Andrea Larson and Emily Towey each contributed one goal for Mean Muggers. Meaghan Nelson made two helpers.

Erin Kastner tallied one goal for TC Shatter.

Mean Muggers extended their winning streak to three games and now has a record of 14-3. TC Shatter finished the game with a record of 5-10.
