In a hard fought match up, Blade Runners triumphed over Northern Stars 3 - 2 at MARS Lakeview Duluth on Sunday. Neither team managed to score in the first period. Blade Runners took the lead in the second period with three goals. Northern Stars added two goals in the third period but it was not enough to win the game.

Turning in a good performance, Mary Fenske scored two goals for Blade Runners. Teresa Burton added one goal for Blade Runners. Seibel-Hunt and Borg each added one assist for Blade Runners.

Bonnie Shea made one goal for Northern Stars and also had one helper. Danielle Amborn added one goal for Northern Stars.

Blade Runners's Kathryn Rehwaldt stopped 12 out of 14 shots. Northern Stars's Sherri Qualley had 13 saves on 16 shots.

Blade Runners ended the game with a record of 9-6. Northern Stars ended the game with a record of 10-10.
