Both defenses battled it out, but Eagles prevailed over Nutcrackers 1 - zero at Augsburg Rink A on Sunday. Eagles chalked up one unanswered goal to take the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Eagles kept its lead. Eagles's defense shut down Nutcrackers for the rest of the game. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Eagles conserved its lead, and was the winner.
