Kassiann Keister on fire with the hat trick and Wildcats effective on defense to win big on the road

Winning by a large margin, Wildcats prevailed over Whammies 10 - 1 at Augsburg B on Sunday. Wildcats tallied up four unanswered goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the middle period, Wildcats outscored Whammies four to one and kept the lead. Whammies's fate was sealed. In the final period Wildcats scored two goals adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Turning in a great performance for Wildcats, Kassiann Keister made the hat trick with four goals and also had one helper. Wildcats's Leah Hiniker scored two goals for Wildcats. Robin Lawler, Jenna Johnston, Mary Rothchild, and Ariana Schuster each added one goal for Wildcats.

Leading the way for Wildcats, Brittany Daniels had 10 saves on 11 shots. Whammies's Kari Menzia had just 35 saves on 45 shots.

Wildcats added to their current win streak of three games and ended up with a record of 8-10. Whammies ended the game with a record of 1-12.
