Wildcats Wins Close Game Against Blue J's II 3-1

Kassiann Keister connects for a goal and Wildcats puts the squeeze on shooters to prevail

In a tightly contested game, Wildcats was superior against Blue J's II 3 - 1 at Augsburg A on Sunday. Wildcats tallied up one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. As the second period unfolded, Wildcats scored two goals to Blue J's II's one and kept the lead. The Wildcats defense took over in the final period. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Wildcats held on to its lead, and was the winner.

Kassiann Keister, abigail hayes, and Leah Hiniker each tallied one goal for Wildcats. Laura Hamilton made two points.

Jean Daavettila contributed one goal for Blue J's II.

Leading the way for Wildcats, Brittany Daniels stopped 14 out of 15 shots. Blue J's II's Kyle Rizner made 26 saves.

Wildcats ended the game with a record of 6 wins and 10 losses. Blue J's II ended the game with a record of 6 wins and 10 losses.
