In a defensive battle, MN Xtreme finished off Lions 2 - 1 at Augsburg Rink A on Thursday. Lions racked up one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. MN Xtreme added two unanswered goals in the second period to take over the lead. It would prove to be too much for Lions. With both teams scoreless in the third period, MN Xtreme conserved its lead, and was the winner.

Kyleen Donahue and Annie Simons each added one goal for MN Xtreme. Shannon nelson earned two assists. Wasmoen and Negaard each added one assist for MN Xtreme.

Britny Holloway contributed one goal for Lions.
