In a shutout victory, Icebreakers won against Carleton College 5 - zero at Richfield - Rink 2 on Wednesday. Icebreakers chalked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Icebreakers retained its lead. Carleton College's fate was sealed. In the final period Icebreakers scored four goals sealing the deal and winning the game.

Icebreakers's Beth bertelson scored two goals for Icebreakers. Jenni Spangle, Elizabeth Dolphin, and Caitlin Condon each tallied one goal for Icebreakers.

Leading the way to a shutout for Icebreakers, Annette Germann stopped six shots. In goal, Carleton College's Charlotte Zimmerman had only 5 saves on 17 shots on goal.

Icebreakers ended up with a record of 12-1. Carleton College finished the game with a record of 1-13.
