Galaxy triumphed over Goal Diggers 5 - 1 at Richfield Arena 1 on Saturday. Galaxy and Goal Diggers both scored one goal to end the first period tied. Galaxy gained two goals in the second period to break the tie and take the lead. Goal Diggers were not able to answer back. In the final period Galaxy scored two goals adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

Displaying offensive skills, Jane Miller got two goals for Galaxy. Zoe Jacobson got one goal for Galaxy and also had one point. Kayleigh Halter got one goal for Galaxy and also had one assist. Halter contributed one assist for Galaxy.

Pam Wilson added one goal for Goal Diggers.

Galaxy's Flannery Dolan stopped seven out of eight shots.

Goal Diggers finished the game with a record of 4-9.
