In a tight contest, Blade Runners handed a loss to Bombers 5 - 3 at Parade South on Sunday. Blade Runners racked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Both teams chalked up two goals in the second period but Blade Runners kept the lead for the win. In the final period, Blade Runners outscored Bombers two to one and kept the lead to win the game.

Blade Runners's Coleen Arbeiter netted two goals for Blade Runners and also had one helper. Cheryl Vaske, Beth Seibel-Hunt, and Beth Borg each added one goal for Blade Runners.

Blade Runners's Kathryn Rehwaldt stopped 18 shots. Bombers's Heidi Michaels had only 29 saves on 34 shots on goal.

Bombers ended the game with a record of 5 wins and 10 losses.
