In a tight contest, Fine Lines overcame Crew 3 - 2 at Moose Sherritt - Monticello on Saturday. Fine Lines and Crew both scored one goal to end the first period tied. Fine Lines took the lead in the second period with two goals. In the third period Crew scored one goal but it was too little too late and they ended up with the loss.

Displaying offensive skills, Lori Blomberg got two goals for Fine Lines. Lotti Bird contributed one goal for Fine Lines. (Kris) Olson and O"Connor each tallied one assist for Fine Lines.

Laurel Davis and Caroline Beattie each tallied one goal for Crew.

Racking up saves in the box, Fine Lines's Lynn Brewer stopped 11 out of 11 shots. Despite showing off a strong glove, Crew's Christine Berthiaume made 24 saves.

Crew ended the game with a record of 5-7.
