Shutting out the competition, Mystics prevailed against Arrows 3 - zero at Richfield 2 on Saturday. Both teams were scoreless in the first period. Mystics gained three unanswered goals in the second period to break the tie and take the lead. Mystics never looked back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Mystics protected its lead, and was the winner.

In the second period, Mystics made it happen on the ice when Ingrid Borkoski netted a goal with 11:20 left in the period. Ann Howell assisted on the goal. Mystics never lost the lead after that. Mystics kept going when Rebecca Clotts put the puck in the net without assistance with 8:50 left on the clock, to get further in the lead. Adding another score for Mystics, Clotts once again lit the lamp yet again with assists from Linnea Loren and Heidi Reynolds, with 3:17 left on the clock, to get further in the lead.

Contributing to the win for Mystics, Rebecca Clotts got two goals for Mystics. Ingrid Borkoski added one goal for Mystics. Reynolds, Loren, and Howell each contributed one assist for Mystics.

Having a huge impact in the game, Mystics's michele van vranken had 17 saves. Arrows's Kristel Carlson finished with 21 saves.

Arrows finished the game with a record of 6 wins and 10 losses.
