Shutting out the competition, Shooting Stars prevailed against Surly Misfits 6 - 0 at Augsburg A on Saturday. Shooting Stars scored one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Shooting Stars gained three straight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. It would prove to be too much for Surly Misfits. In the final period Shooting Stars scored two consecutive goals piling on and winning the game.

Shooting Stars's Abby Olson got two goals for Shooting Stars and also had one assist. Shooting Stars's Julie LaClair scored two goals for Shooting Stars. Diane Nemitz and Mandy Pierson each tallied one goal for Shooting Stars.

Surly Misfits ended the game with a record of 1-17.
