Shutting out their opponents, Hinotes Heroes beat Whammies 9 - 0 at Augsburg on Wednesday. Hinotes Heroes scored three goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Hinotes Heroes gained five goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Whammies were not able to answer back. In the final period Hinotes Heroes scored one goal padding its lead and winning the game.

Having a huge impact in the game for Hinotes Heroes, Susan Sajevic made the hat trick with four goals and also had one helper. Coming through for Hinotes Heroes, Sajevic lit the lamp without assistance in the second period. Steaming onward, Sajevic lit the lamp in the second period. Tracy Sellin got the assist on this goal.
