Eagles overcame Storm 5 - 2 at Northeast Arena on Wednesday. Eagles outscored Storm two to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. In the second, Eagles outscored their opponents by one goal and kept the lead. Eagles's defense shut down Storm for the rest of the game. In the final period Eagles scored one goal improving its score and winning the game.

Having an outstanding day for Eagles, Katie Bennett got the hat trick with three goals and also had one helper. Laura Wild and Charlotte Hoium each added one goal for Eagles.

In the crease, Eagles's Kate Hall blocked no shots. In goal, Storm's Renee Brasuhn had no saves.

Eagles ended their losing streak of two games and improved to a record of 14-4. Storm ended the game with a record of 7-7.
