In a close game, Nutcrackers overcame Eagles 3 - 2 at Northeast Arena on Monday. Nutcrackers scored one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second, Nutcrackers scored two goals to Eagles's one and kept the lead. Eagles failed to take the lead in the third period even though they scored one goal, and ended up losing the game.

Displaying offensive skills, Allison Schwab made two goals for Nutcrackers and also had one helper. Alyssa Sablak tallied one goal for Nutcrackers. Doig and Johnson each added one assist for Nutcrackers.

Katie Bennett and Brittany Kretzman each added one goal for Eagles.

Nutcrackers continued their current win streak of five games and ended up with a record of 12 wins and 4 losses. Eagles finished the game with a record of 13 wins and 4 losses.
