Defenses slugged it out, but Rockets handed a loss to Blade Runners 1 - zip at Parade South on Sunday. Neither team managed to put points on the board in the first period. No one scored in the second period either. Finally getting points on the board in the third period, Rockets scored one goal to take the win.

In the third period, Rockets put points on the board with their game when Anna Leisz scored a goal with an assist from Kayla Biwer, with 4:03 left on the clock.

Showing off a strong glove, Rockets's Kim Erickson blocked 25 out of 25 shots on goal. Despite having a huge impact in the game, Blade Runners's Kathryn Rehwaldt stopped 19 out of 20 shots.

Blade Runners finished the game with a record of 7-6.
