Both defenses battled it out, but Storm overcame MN Xtreme 1 - zip at Augsburg B on Sunday. Neither team managed to get on the scoreboard in the first period. No one scored in the second period either. Storm finally scored in the final period with one goal and won the game.

Having a huge impact in the game, Storm's Renee Brasuhn had 15 saves on 15 shots. Despite racking up saves in the box, MN Xtreme's Nicole Jones blocked 21 out of 22 shots on goal.

MN Xtreme ended the game with a record of 3-11.
