In a shutout game, Frozen Stiffs beat Mean Muggers 3 - 0 at Augsburg Rink A on Sunday. Frozen Stiffs chalked up one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Frozen Stiffs gained one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. It would prove to be too much for Mean Muggers. In the final period Frozen Stiffs scored one goal sealing the deal and winning the game.

In the first period, Frozen Stiffs made it happen on the ice when Brittany Andrews put the puck in the net with 8:30 left in the period. Amanda Plumm assisted on the goal. Frozen Stiffs was in control from then on. In the second period, rolling on, Frozen Stiffs's Erin Topley put the puck between the pipes with assists from Brittany Andrews and Rachel Wedig, with 9:59 left in the period, pulling further ahead. In the third period, Frozen Stiffs fired up their game when Megan Preston lit the lamp with assists from Ashley Andrews and Carmen Lizee, with 11:55 left on the clock, to move further ahead.

Brittany Andrews got one goal for Frozen Stiffs and also had one point. Megan Preston and Erin Topley each contributed one goal for Frozen Stiffs. Plumm, Andrews, Lizee, and Wedig each contributed one assist for Frozen Stiffs.

Turning in a perfect performance, Frozen Stiffs's Amanda Plumm made 25 saves. Mean Muggers's Tanya Gaylord had 11 saves.

Mean Muggers ended the game with a record of 11-3.
