Both defenses battled it out, but Riveters prevailed over Northland Thunder 2 - 1 at Augsburg A on Sunday. Northland Thunder chalked up one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Riveters gained two goals in the second period to take over the lead. Northland Thunder's fate was sealed. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Riveters held on to its lead, and was the winner.

Lara Turner and Deidre Lindstrom each contributed one goal for Riveters. Campbell contributed one assist for Riveters.

Amy Kachinske contributed one goal for Northland Thunder.

Leading the way for Riveters, Dauphine Waataja turned away 14 shots.

Riveters extended their winning streak to four games and ended up with a record of 11-9. Northland Thunder finished the game with a record of 8-9.
