Northern Stars was superior against Chicks With Sticks 4 - 1 at MARS Lakeview Duluth on Saturday. Both teams were scoreless in the first period. Both teams scored one goal in the second period and remained tied. The second period ended with both teams at one goal all. Northern Stars added three goals in the third period to break the tie and take the lead, grabbing a late victory.

Displaying offensive skills, Pamela Wutz got two goals for Northern Stars. Danielle Amborn got one goal for Northern Stars and also had one point. Bonnie Shea tallied one goal for Northern Stars.

Showing off a strong glove, Northern Stars's Sherri Qualley had 17 saves. Chicks With Sticks's Tracee Eidenschink turned away 17 shots.

Northern Stars ended the game with a record of 9-7. Chicks With Sticks finished the game with a record of 0-14.
