Hot Tamales beat Victorious Secret 6 - 1 at St. Thomas Academy on Saturday. Hot Tamales outscored Victorious Secret three to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. Hot Tamales added one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. Hot Tamales never looked back. In the final period Hot Tamales scored two consecutive goals adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Showing strong scoring ability, Jody Riegert made the hat trick with three goals and also had one point. Getting started, Riegert put the biscuit over the goal line for a power play goal in the first period. Sara Warner got the assist on this goal. Hot Tamales was in control from then on. During the first period, Riegert scored an unassisted goal. Piling on, Riegert put the biscuit over the goal line without any assistance in the first period. Shannon Plourde tallied one goal for Hot Tamales.

Victorious Secret's Ashley Garcia had only 23 saves on 29 shots on goal.

Victorious Secret ended the game with a record of 2-8.
