Sharpshooters prevailed over Shooting Stars 6 - 3 at Augsburg A on Friday. Sharpshooters and Shooting Stars both scored one goal to end the first period tied. In the second, Sharpshooters scored three goals to Shooting Stars's one and took the lead. In the final period, Sharpshooters outscored Shooting Stars two to one and kept the lead to win the game.

Showing strong scoring ability, marni lamberty made the hat trick with three goals. Coming through for Sharpshooters, lamberty put the biscuit over the goal line in the second period. Kris Duryea and Lynn Anderson assisted on this goal. Sharpshooters was ahead from then on. In addition, lamberty lamberty put the biscuit over the goal line with assists from nicole trueman and Kimberly Kline. Next, lamberty lamberty put the puck between the pipes with assists from nicole trueman and Cynthia Scanlon. Janice Klausing added one goal for Sharpshooters.

Sharpshooters's Lindsay Murr made 25 saves. Shooting Stars's Katie Caskey had only 25 saves on 31 shots on goal.
