Fine Lines beat Carleton College 7 - 2 at Northfield on Friday. Fine Lines scored three goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Both teams added two goals in the second period but Fine Lines held on to the lead for the win. It would prove to be too much for Carleton College. In the final period Fine Lines scored two goals adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

Leading the scoring for Fine Lines, J Winsor netted the hat trick with three goals in addition to two assists. In well played offense, Lori Blomberg netted two goals for Fine Lines in addition to two assists. Kristin (Kris) Olson and Linnea LeBaron each added one goal for Fine Lines.

Fine Lines's Lynn Brewer finished with 15 saves. Carleton College's Charlotte Zimmerman had just eight saves on 15 shots.

Fine Lines ended up with a record of 4-6. Carleton College finished the game with a record of 1-9.
