Defenses slugged it out, but Riveters defeated Hinotes Heroes 2 - 0 at Augsburg A on Thursday. Riveters scored one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Riveters added one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. Riveters's defense shut down Hinotes Heroes for the rest of the game. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Riveters held on to its lead, and was the winner.

Riveters extended their winning streak to three games and ended up with a record of 10-9. Hinotes Heroes finished the game with a record of 11 wins and 7 losses.
