Equipment Donations at the State Tournament-Minneapolis Police Athletic League (PAL) is a 501(c3) non-profit organization sponsored by the Minneapolis Police Department that is funded entirely by grants and donations. PAL offers free membership based programs to Minneapolis youth ages 5-17. Police officers, firefighters, city employees, parents and citizens volunteer to coach, mentor, guide, and support PAL members thru sports, afterschool tutoring, educational camps, and field trips. Ice hockey has never been offered until this spring, and there are 40 kids and 5 police officers that use the Herb Brooks Training Center every Thursday for 10-weeks. Your help in getting new/used equipment donated is appreciated. Donation buckets will be by the player check-in tables in the lower rink's lobby. "Play It Back" Charities is a Minnesota non-profit group working with Minneapolis and Saint Paul individuals, as well as youth teams. We provide equipment and scholarships to individuals facing hardship, as well as suppling local youth teams with necessary sporting equipment. We will be accepting donations for ALL SPORTS, not just hockey. Donation buckets will be upstairs in the viewing area lobby.
